Who makes up the leadership groups?

There are two main leadership groups: the Teen Leadership Group and the Adult Leadership Group. Teens: Get involved in initiatives and decision-making, gaining leadership skills. Adults: Offer support, mentorship, and guidance. The leadership membership year runs from July 1 through June 30 of the following year.

Participation is free to join, and members are encouraged to share their talents and ideas. Teen Leadership: Middle & high school students Adult Leadership: Community members 18+

When do leadership groups meet?

Meetings are typically held monthly, either virtually or in person at local libraries, restaurants, or community spaces. Interested in attending a meeting? Check the schedule for the next leadership meeting.

There’s room to join and space to grow. Teens and adults can get involved in different ways depending on interest and availability. Let us know you’re interested by filling out an interest form. We’ll follow up with next steps!

In Wheaton, school-based programs at Edison Middle School create spaces where students come together to build critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration. These programs encourage leadership, problem-solving, and confidence while fostering a supportive environment for students to learn and grow together.

Dungeons & Dragons

The Dungeons & Dragons Club offers students a fun, collaborative space to build creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills through storytelling and strategic gameplay. Students practice communication, imagination, and leadership in a supportive environment.

Pizza with a Professional gives students the opportunity to learn directly from industry experts through inspiring lunchtime sessions that connect classroom learning to real-world careers. In Wheaton, this program is offered at Wheaton North High School and Wheaton Warrenville South High School, giving students the chance to hear from professionals, ask questions, and explore different career paths in a relaxed, lunchtime setting.
