About The Event
Volunteer at Military History Weekend with the Lockport Park District! Held at Dellwood Park on Saturday, September 12 and Sunday, September 13, this weekend features live battle reenactments, pyrotechnics, vintage music, living history demonstrations, camps, vendors, food and beverages, and more.
Plan to arrive at at least 15 minutes before your scheduled shift to allow enough time to find parking and locate our group.
Volunteer Duties:
You'll help manage guest lines and pedestrian traffic, check wristbands, & direct/guide guests to viewing areas, info tents, and various locations. If you can only do part of the shift, still sign up and make a note of it in the comment section.
Wear your DuCAP shirt. If it's your first time volunteering you'll be given a DuCAP shirt. Complete an Info Form if this is your first time volunteering with us since July 1, 2026. Parents and family members are welcome to join!
